Fall Grants Update

With increased attacks on reproductive justice and voting rights, we continued to invest in infrastructure and capacity building ahead of 2022 and 2024. This fall we granted $510,000 to organizations in key states and national partners, bringing our funding total to more than $7 million in c4 dollars since January.

Arizona has been a battleground for numerous recent federal campaigns on voting rights, climate justice, and immigrant justice—and they have a competitive Senate race in 2022. We're funding the AZ Wins Native Voter Program to resource an important area of the ecosystem: Native voter organizing.

Minnesota has a chance to flip the state legislature in 2022. Yes 4 Minneapolis, a ballot initiative that would replace the city’s police department with a department of public safety, is also up for a vote. We're funding Take Action Minnesota, a group deeply engaged in organizing in advance of the election.

New Hampshire will be a battleground state in 2022 for the Senate, and the work of building an engaged progressive base there has already begun. This month we are funding the New Hampshire Youth Movement's efforts to build a statewide movement for young people and increase political power at the municipal level.

With a key Senate and Governor race on the ballot in 2022 and anti-democracy groups working to weaken voting access, Pennsylvania has a lot at stake. We’re funding Casa in Action PA, a group doing important work on climate justice, democracy defense, electoral organizing, and building a candidate pipeline.

Our latest batch of grants also included several national partners that are also grantees of our c3 initiatives. With this funding, we are able to amplify the power of our c3 funding with c4 grants to these important organizations.

All* Above All Action Fund is a catalyst organization for abortion justice that engages in policy advocacy at the local, state, and federal level.

Black to the Future Action Fund is a think tank and act tank working to transform Black communities into a political constituency with political power in cities and states.

Higher Heights works to build collective political power and leadership for Black women, from the voting booth to elected office.
